Jazz Spectrum and Underground Sound Jazz Ensemble Join Forces

The Underground Jazz Ensemble, an outstanding 15 piece big band from Delevan, WI, contacted Jazz Spectrum. They discussed performing together and individually on the same bill, thus being able to provide continuous, exciting entertainment combining a big band with a vocal ensemble and a vocal ensemble backed by a big band! This could be the start of something BIG!

The Underground Sound Jazz Ensemble is an outstanding 15 piece big band from Delevan, WI, under the direction of Kyle Dischner.  In April Kyle contacted Jazz Spectrum. They discussed performing together and individually on the same bill, thus being able to provide continuous, exciting entertainment combining a big band with a vocal ensemble and a vocal ensemble backed by a big band! Their first performance was so well received that the quartet outfitted themselves with 1940’s gear to compliment their Glenn Miller/Modernaires gear to compliment their GlennMiller/Modernaires’ souND.  This could be the start of something BIG!
