Karin and Bob Zaun Give Out Four Scholarships

On May 17, 2024, during Mundelein High School’s Evening of Jazz, Karin and Bob awarded four scholarships to MHS Jazz Band students. Next to Karin and Bob is Aldre Delos Santos, an outstanding senior trumpet player… but he had no horn. He now has a Bach Stradivarius 37 trumpet. Chloe Langford, a junior trombone player, received tuition to the 2024-2025 season of the jazz program at the Midwest Young Artist Conservatory, Matthew Adamczyk, freshman, trumpet, received tuition to the University of Illinois Summer Youth Music Camp, and Sahah Penteado an incoming freshman sax player was awarded a year’s worth of lessons with Jazz Spectrum’s own Dave Kublank.
